Since Monday Feb 6th, Halliburton has added 40 postings, and takes their total of available positions across the US to 333, with over 500 jobs available worldwide.

Oil Rallies Despite the Numbers

Crude inventories climbed by 13.8 million barrels in domestic crude-oil supplies for the week ending Feb. 3. The American Petroleum Institute late Tuesday reported 14.2 million-barrel jump. This is in stark contrast to analysts polled by S&P Global Platts who had forecast a climb of 2.5 million barrels.

Relatively Balanced

According to the Energy Information Administration’s Short-Term Energy Outlook Report released Tuesday, global oil looks to br on track and ‘relatively balanced’. This is expected to persist through 2017 and well into 2018.

Halliburton Confidence

Clearly, with the ups and downs the markets have experienced in the last quarter, many players in the industry are hesitant to ramp up efforts. By contrast, Halliburton has stayed incredible active, especially in those areas such as the Permian Basin in Texas and Bakken Oilfields in North Dakota.
